Our Additional Needs Dance class is an inclusive and welcoming dance session designed for children with additional needs. Every child is encouraged to take part at their own pace in a supportive, pressure-free environment where individuality is celebrated.

Each class combines movement, music, creativity and sensory exploration through a variety of engaging activities including:

* Sensory play and exploration
* Fun movement games
* Dance warm-ups and stretching
* Balance, coordination and motor skill activities
* Simple dance technique
* Creative movement with props such as scarves, ribbons, feathers and parachutes
* Short choreographed routines
* Relaxation and calming activities to finish

Our sessions are designed to help children build confidence, coordination, communication and social skills while enjoying the many physical and emotional benefits of dance. We use visual demonstrations and a repetitive class structure to help children feel comfortable.

There is no previous dance experience required. Children are welcome to participate in the way that suits them best, and parents or carers are welcome to stay if their child would benefit from their support.

Our aim is to create a safe, inclusive space where every child can move, express themselves, make friends and most importantly, have fun.
